Eliza Updated

A New version of the Eliza chatbot is now available online by clicking chat with eliza at the home page these version name numerous improvements and a better script (keyword database) that enables the bot to have chat session with users. These program was modified from my original version of the eliza chatbot, the new name is: sourceid chatbot and was developped by: Arif Hidayat

The chatbot tutorial is available in prolog and the link can be found in the front page: http://ai-programming.com/prolog_bot_tutorial.htmProlog Chatbot Tutorial but only chatbot1 and chatbot2 are available right now (the others:"chatbot3 etc are not ready yet)

Usualy most of the links that appear to be broken means actualy that the code for the chatbot is not available downloading yet.

The Chatbot Tutorial is now available in other programming languages

The Chatbot Tutorial has recently been made available in Java and Visual Basic and it will also eventualy be available in Lisp, Prolog and Pascal, so keep in touch for the latest updates!

(2004) Alice have recently win a bronze medal in the Loebner competition for the most human computer program.
The original creator of the Alice chatterbot is Dr. Richard Wallace who is also the creator of A.I.M.L (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language ).
A very simple and useful computer  programming  language for writing chatbots.

(2005) The chatterbot Jabberwacky (character George) has won the Loebner prize for this year.
Jabberwacky is a chatterbot that was written by Rollo Carpenter,he have won the bronze medal,
a total prize of 3000$. The three time winner Alice has came in fourth place.

(2006) Rollo Carpenter has win for a second time the bronze medal in the Loebner Prize Contest wich is suppose to be a modern version of the Turing test.
This time, he has managed to get the first place with his Chatbot: Joan and in second place we have: Robert Medeksza and his chatterbot Ultra Hal.

(2007) This year, Robert Medeksza is the new winner of the Loebner Prize with the chatterbot Ultra Hal and Rollo Carpenter came in third place.

(2008) And yet again a new winner this year: Fred Roberts with Elbot has won the Loebner Prize (bronze medal):...

New Updates in The Chatterbot Tutorial Section

Some new entries have been added in the tutorial, a new Chatterbot (Chatterbot6) is now available to download. It is to illustrate the concept of 'Signon Messages' and it also concerns 'Keyword Boundaries'.

New Projects Available for Downloading

Some new projects have been added in the "A.I Projects" and "Other Projects" of the ai-programming.com website.  A source code written in C++ of the Backpropagation Neural Net has been added to "A.I projects" section and also 3 other projects have been added to "Other Projects" section: A Complex Number Class, A String Class and A New String Tokenizer Class.
